I stayed at the Uhuru while Jan went to visit a family of woodcarvers. I met a group of women that were in Tanzania from Florida. They had come to visit churches in the Dar es Salaam area and one of the pastors, Jehosaphat, from Dar was with them.The girls, Daphne, Patricia and Yvette were getting ready to depart to go back to the states and wanted to see Mt. Kilimanjaro before they left - but the mountain did not show itself from behind the clouds.
I ended up joining them for lunch and had a wonderful time sharing, fellowshipping and praying together before they left to go back to Dar es Salaam and then the states.
