M4M Team Dinner at Minsky's Tonight

Looking forward to pizza, beer and and fellowship with the team tonight.

Ahlrichs Reception and Send-Off Service

Yesterday at Atonement we celebrated the Ahlrichs with a reception

between the morning worship services.

 The eye clinic at the Nyakato Health Center is named in their honor.

when Atonement first took on task of building the clinic.

 A replica of the plaque that will go on the front of the Ahlrichs Eye Clinic.

The dedication will take place in the afternoon of Saturday, June 16th.

 During the Childrens' Time the kiddos help Kari pack her bags

with the Beanie Babies that have been collected

by the congregation during the month of May.

During the send-off part of the service
each team member lit a candle from the salt candles - 

symbolic of the "Salt & Light" from Matthew 5:13-14.

featuring the KC Brassworks and percussionists.

Ahlrichs Reception and M4M Team Send-Off

Tomorrow, Sunday, May 27th from 9:45am to 10:45am at Atonement

we will celebrate with Loren and Ruth Ahlrichs

and the Eye Clinic at Nyakato being named in their honor.

The Send-Off for the M4M Team will be during the 11:00am worship service

immediately following the reception.

Reading Glasses Collection

During the month of May we are collecting reading glasses

to take with us to Mwanza.

Give them to a M4M team member or drop them off at Atonement-

there is a basket for the glasses on the M4M table in the Narthex.

The Health Center is just North of the big Mwatex Textile Factory.

and the Bingo Bingo where we will be eating while

we are in Mwanza.

The Bingo Bingo is new since we were there in 2009.

It is right behind Mama Lucy's house.

Beanies & Glasses

During the month of May we are collecting Beanie Babies

(along with other small stuffed animals)

and reading glasses (in all strengths).

Drop them off at the M4M table in the Narthex at Atonement

before or after the weekend worship services.
